Islamic international schools pair a mainstream academic programme (usually British, American, IB or the local national curriculum) with Islamic studies, Qur'anic recitation, Arabic language and a whole-school Islamic ethos. They range from schools with a light devotional overlay to schools with a full Ma'had-style religious sciences track.
Daily du'a, weekly congregational prayer, Arabic language, Qur'an memorisation (hifdh streams available at some schools) and age-appropriate Islamic studies alongside the academic subjects.
Older students study fiqh, seerah (the life of the Prophet ﷺ), aqidah, Qur'anic tafsir and Islamic ethics. Community service and character formation are usually woven through the school week.
Islamic
Almost all Islamic international schools run a mainstream academic curriculum — often British (IGCSE / A-Level), American, or IB — with Islamic studies and Arabic taught in addition. Uniform, prayer times, dietary provision and gender arrangements are typically part of the school's day.
