Taipei American School (TAS) is a private international day school in Taipei's Tianmu area offering an American-based education for KA through Grade 12. The language of instruction is English, with Mandarin taught as an additional language from Kindergarten onward. TAS is hosted on a 15-acre campus in Tianmu, a northern suburb of Taipei, featuring a dedicated Arts Center, science and technology labs, multiple gymnasia, and extensive athletic facilities. The school provides AP and IB pathways within an American framework and serves a diverse expatriate community of around 2,400 students annually. TAS maintains bus service for many Taipei-area residents and emphasizes a co-educational environment without on-campus boarding.
Kang Chiao International School - Xiugang Campus, established in 2002 and located on the 4.5-hectare Xiugang Hill in New Taipei City at an elevation of 500 meters, offers bilingual education for Grades 7 to 12. The school provides multiple curricular pathways, including the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), IB Diploma Programme (DP), Advanced Placement (AP), and a localized Taiwanese curriculum. I-Shou International School is a private, co‑educational international/bilingual school in Dashu District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Founded in 2004, it offers multiple pathways for international-minded learners, including the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), together with the Cambridge IGCSE for some grades and Taiwan's national curriculum for selected cohorts. The campus sits in the E‑Da community area of Kaohsiung and features a boarding house for students in grades 6–12, a diverse programme of global trips, and extensive sports and activities. The school emphasises bilingual education and inquiry-based learning, delivering English as the core language of instruction, with Chinese language study and bilingual options in the upper grades. Kaohsiung American School (KAS) is a private PreK–12 international school founded in 1989 in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It delivers American standards-based curricula alongside the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme, with English as the language of instruction and Chinese taught as a national language option. The school serves students from early years through high school, supported by English as an Additional Language and learning support services. The campus is LEED-certified and features a 400-seat performing arts theater, five science laboratories, a state-of-the-art elementary STEAM makerspace, a library, and the Thomas Farrell Athletics Complex, including a swimming pool and rooftop tennis court. KAS offers the Future Leaders Program, Global Online Academy electives, and a broad range of clubs and activities. Tuition is charged per semester, with additional required and capital fees. Asia American International Academy (AAIA) is located in Linkou District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. The campus is near the Taoyuan Airport MRT line (A8 Chang-Gung Station and A9 Linkou Station) and is close to Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou and Shine Square. The school offers an American-based curriculum for grades 6–12 and is accredited by WASC.
