Grace Christian Academy Hong Kong uses an individualized Bible- and character-based academic program built on the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) framework, delivered in English and Mandarin Chinese. Primary-level coursework includes English, Literature and Creative Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Word Building, with secondary-level offerings expanding to Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Civics, Economics, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus plus electives such as Speech, Music, Health, Computer Science and Personal Finance. The ACE program uses PACEs (personalized workbooks) progressing from Level 1 to Level 12 across subjects, with roughly 6–12 PACEs per subject depending on level and a 90-character-trait integration per PACE. Chinese is taught in Mandarin with simplified characters and attention to traditional characters for local relevance. Graduation is achieved after Level 12 in all required ACE subjects, with potential Dual Enrollment through Lighthouse Christian Academy for an internationally accredited diploma and transcript, recognized by MSA-CESS, NCPSA, and Ai. The academy emphasizes character growth, attendance, and academic performance as graduation criteria, not age alone.
Graduates typically gain admission to local and international higher education institutions.
1. Step 1. Check the Date of the Next Curriculum Presentation. The Curriculum Presentation is normally held in March each year. You should view the current year's Important Dates for the date of the Curriculum Presentation and/or call the office for inquiries.
2. Step 2. Prepare the Required Documents. Prepare copies of the child's birth certificate, the child's HKID or passport, both parents' HKID and passports, the child's school reports from previous and current years, and any medical or assessment reports if applicable. Ensure documents are complete and organized before submission.
3. Step 3. Submit the Application Form. The Application Form is provided as a hard copy at the Curriculum Presentation or can be downloaded. It can be submitted by mail or by hand along with all required documents and the application fee. Applications submitted after the deadline may be placed on the Academy's waiting list, and an extra administrative fee may be charged for late submissions.
4. Step 4. Parents and Student Interviews. After you submit the Application Form and required documents, an interview will be arranged for both parents to attend with their child. The school will inform applicants of the outcome by mail within about one month of the interview.
