Rootes School is a bilingual day school for ages 0 to 13 that blends the UK National Curriculum with Italian educational indications. Across five campuses, around 450 students learn with Italian educators and native English-speaking teachers, within a single bilingual and bicultural didactic journey. The Rootes School Method combines Blended Learning and Inquiry-Based Learning to nurture critical thinking, autonomy and collaboration as students explore both curricula. Learning spaces follow the '4 spaces +1' model, including the Agora for group discussion, research areas, presentation spaces, personal study corners, and a connected digital setting. The campus design uses natural materials and integrates an educational garden as a central feature. A psycho-pedagogic service supports wellbeing, with in-class observation, screening and counselling for teachers and parents. The in-house canteen promotes balanced meals and sustainability. Out-of-class programs include Spanish, Chinese, coding, choir, musicals, dance and Ju Jitsu, with portfolios tracking progress and dialogue with families.
