Introduction

The International School of Venice offers a bilingual English–Italian education for ages 3–14. The curriculum blends the English National Curriculum with Italian Ministerial Programs across Early Years (3–6), Primary (6–11) and Middle School (11–14). English is the language of instruction, with Italian integrated to support an international, bilingual setting. The School Curriculum Plan covers all three levels, and Primary pupils prepare for the Italian certificate while Middle School students sit an external state exam. Cambridge English exams are prepared in collaboration with the Oxford School in Venice. Founded in 1993, IS Venice provides a continuous learning pathway with active involvement from parents and staff. The campus uses eco-sustainable, bio-building design, prioritizing student well-being and digital learning. A STEAM approach underpins Mathematics and computing—Movement Through Math—with hands-on science experiences through Fenice Green Energy Park field trips. After-school clubs, Latin for Middle School and a Summer Camp broaden opportunities for culture, sports and creativity.

Invoices are issued to the payer as requested.

- Late payment penalties and consequences: a non‑payment or late payment leads to loss of the agreed term and the obligation to pay the balance immediately; a late fee of EUR 50 is applied for delays exceeding seven days and legal interest may be charged. If payment delay exceeds five days, the school may suspend services until outstanding amounts are settled; if delay exceeds thirty days, the school may terminate the contract. The contract also requires payment of the full annual tuition obligation even in cases of force majeure, except for proportional reductions specified by the school. Field trips already paid are not refundable if not attended.

Refunds, withdrawal and notice

- Admission fee: non‑refundable.

- Withdrawal and notice: if withdrawal occurs after the start date of the school year the notice period is one month. If the required notice is not given, a financial penalty applies (the contract provides for payment equal to multiple months of fees as penalty—contract wording includes penalties equal to two or three months' fees in specified circumstances). The contract sets out that signing the enrolment contract creates an obligation to pay the full annual tuition subject to the limited reductions noted in the contract. Parents should observe the contractual notice terms to avoid penalties.

Boarding

- Boarding is not provided by the International School of Venice; there are no boarding fees listed. The school operates a day‑school model; accommodation and residential provision are not part of the published fee schedule.
