Axcel International School is a primary and secondary school located in Puchong, Malaysia. 1) Submit an application to join Axcel International School and pay the application fee prior to prospective students sitting for the entrance checkpoint (test). 2) The application fee is payable upon application to join the School and is non-transferable and non-refundable even if the prospective student does not sit for the entrance checkpoint or is not accepted to join the School. 3) This fee is part of the admissions process, and the payment is required to proceed with the entrance checkpoint. 4) If the student is not admitted after the entrance checkpoint, the application fee remains non-refundable.
1) If accepted, pay the registration fee prior to enrollment. 2) The registration fee is payable upon registration to join the School and must be paid before the student is enrolled. 3) The registration fee is non-transferable and non-refundable even if the student withdraws after acceptance or for any reason.
1) The Resource Fee is payable to provide resources to all students, including workshops, physical education classes and events; purchasing equipment and facilities for library, ICT and Science labs; and fees payable to the relevant approving authorities and external bodies governing the School. 2) The Resource Fee is payable in one lump sum prior to the start of any academic year. 3) Resource Fee paid by all students is strictly non-transferable and non-refundable. The off-setting and/or pro-rating of the Resource Fee is not allowed, irrespective of when withdrawal notice is given. 4) The Resource Fee is charged to all students as part of the annual admissions process.
1) The Tuition Fee for the School's academic year is divided into four quarterly Fee Periods: (1) 1 January to 31 March; (2) 1 April to 30 June; (3) 1 July to 30 September; (4) 1 October to 31 December. 2) Mandarin Fee and any other fee for any subjects offered by the School are collectively referred to as the Tuition Fees. 3) Tuition Fees for subsequent Fee Periods are payable in advance, to be paid before the Due Date set out prior to the commencement of the subsequent Fee Period. 4) The School reserves the right not to allow the Student to attend any class or activity until all outstanding fees have been paid. 5) Tuition Fees paid by all students are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable. The off-setting and/or pro-rating of the Tuition Fee is not allowed.
1) Sibling Discount is given for two or more children from the same family enrolled as Students: elder child benefits are 2nd child – 5%; 3rd child – 10%; 4th child – 15%; 5th child – 20%. 2) The Sibling Discount is applicable on Tuition Fee only and for the entire duration of each sibling's study at the School and is subject to revision upon withdrawal or graduation of any sibling. 3) In the event of a withdrawal, the School reserves the right to recover any outstanding discounted amount owing where applicable. For avoidance of doubt, the Sibling Discount is not applicable to the Mandarin Fee (if any). 4) One year full payment in advance is entitled to a 5% discount on the Tuition Fees, after taking into account any Sibling Discount. 5) The 5% discount is applicable to Tuition Fees only and not to the Mandarin Fee.
1) For those who have made annual payment, any Tuition Fees for the remaining Fee Period(s) could be refunded. 2) For avoidance of doubt, the Tuition Fees for the current Fee Period are non-refundable. 3) Any Tuition Fees Lock-in offer is only applicable based on the fees schedule at the time of enrolment, until completion of either Primary or Secondary School. 4) Those who have completed Year 6 in the Primary School will need to pay the fees for the Secondary School at the then prevailing fees. 5) A Year 6 student who remains silent on registration to Year 7 after the closing date for registration will be deemed to have discontinued studies and may forfeit the Security Deposit.
1) The Security Deposit shall be payable in one lump sum prior to the commencement of the first academic year in the School and is strictly non-transferable. 2) The Security Deposit shall be topped up in accordance with the year of study and maintained throughout the Student's continued enrolment in the School. 3) Security Deposit paid shall not be treated as payment of fees or any other payments required to be paid and may not be used to set-off any amount due and payable to the School. 4) In the event the Student is terminated or withdraws from the School, the Security Deposit shall be forfeited to the School and the Student or parents/guardians shall have no claim or right for any refund. 5) If the Security Deposit is not maintained at its required full amount, the School reserves the right not to allow the Student to attend any class or activity until the Security Deposit is restored to its required full amount regardless of other payments. 6) If sufficient notice of withdrawal is given, the Security Deposit will be refunded after all deductions of outstanding bills (if any) have been made. 7) A Year 6 student who does not proceed to Year 7 in a timely manner may affect the return of the Security Deposit as specified.
1) A Student may withdraw from the School by giving a written notice of three (3) months in advance prior to the commencement of the next Fee Period. 2) The notice must be handed in personally or emailed to accounts@axcel.edu.my. 3) The notice must straddle the full term of the next Fee Period to be considered sufficient. 4) The tuition fees for the next Fee Period must have been paid in full prior to withdrawal. 5) If a student withdraws with proper notice and all dues are settled, the deposit and remaining refundable amounts will be processed after deductions.
1) The School may hold insurance policies for accidents occurring on the School premises. 2) The School is not liable for accidents arising from acts of God, unforeseeable circumstances or acts of third parties within or near the School. 3) Parents/guardians indemnify the School against any accident, damage to property, injury or death resulting from their own wilful or negligent acts or those of their children/wards. 4) In a medical emergency, if a parent cannot be contacted, the Principal may arrange medical examination or treatment and the parent shall indemnify the School for expenses incurred.
1) The School reserves the right to take disciplinary action against students who breach the disciplinary rules and regulations. 2) Disciplinary action may include extra worksheets, public speaking, community service, suspension or expulsion. 3) The Student Handbook contains details of breaches and disciplinary actions and can be obtained at the administration office or by appointment with the Principals. 4) If a parent does not consent to punishments under the Student Handbook, the School's decision may be final and not subject to appeal.
1) By admission and continued enrolment in the School, the Parent consents to the School taking photographs, images, recordings and examination results of the child and to use them in any media and for promotional materials within the Alps Excel Holdings Group, including the School's website. 2) The School reserves the right to amend and change these policies from time to time to suit operational requirements. 3) The policies may be updated, with the notice of updates recorded as of January 2021.
