Schweizerschule Mexico is a Swiss international school in Mexico for ages 3 to 18. The curriculum combines the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) with the UNAM high school diploma, allowing graduates to complete both qualifications at same school. Instruction is provided in German, Spanish, English, French, and Mandarin Chinese, supporting multilingual learning through primary and secondary. The school maintains a continuum from Maternal/Kindergarten I + II, Pre-Primary, Primary, and Secondary, culminating in the UNAM diploma and the IB Diploma. A distinctive element is pairing Swiss educational traditions with Mexican diploma requirements. The school offers an exchange program for eligible students: Primary and 1st- and 2nd-year Secondary students with an average of 7.5 on the last report may participate; for 3rd-year Secondary and 1st-year Preparatoria, an average of 8.0 is required. 1. Applicant profile: Our students require a family-like environment that actively values and fosters transcultural and multilingual education. The Colegio Suizo de México respects all people regardless of cultural, religious, political beliefs, or sexual orientation. It promotes a positive learning climate that supports students' development. The school aims to prepare students for a multilingual, globally oriented educational experience. 2. Admissions scope for 2026-2027: Admissions cover Maternal and Kindergarten I and Secundaria Trilingüe (entry without knowledge of German). Admission to the desired group is subject to space availability. The admissions process is aligned with the grade level and linguistic needs of the applicant. 3. Evaluation: The grade level and linguistic ability are assessed through trial classes and/or an admission exam. The admissions process for Secondary and Preparatoria includes a psychometric exam. During the trial classes, students are observed by the school psychologist. The evaluation uses subject-specific assessments and professional judgments to determine fit. 4. Admission decisions and timeline: The final admission decision is made by the Campus Directors based on recommendations from experts. Applicants receive the admission result no later than one week after testing; the result is either admitted or not admitted, and no detailed per-subject results are provided. The school's decision is final. 5. IB Diploma alignment: All students admitted to the second year of Preparatoria are automatically enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Diploma program. They are required to meet all IB program requirements. This automatic enrollment ensures continuity with the IB diploma pathway. The school expects adherence to all program requirements.
