Tromsø International School (TRINT), established in 2011, is the northernmost IB World School, situated in Tromsø, Norway. The campus is located at Minnelundvegen 15, near UiT The Arctic University of Norway. TRINT delivers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) to approximately 201 students aged 3 to 16. The school provides bilingual instruction in English and Norwegian. As a co-educational day school, it uses the surrounding Arctic landscape for environmental and science education. A distinctive feature of the school is its active participation in the European Erasmus+ program, specifically the “STEM Girls: Path to Success in Engineering” initiative (2025–2028), which promotes science and engineering fields among female students. The physical facilities include classrooms updated in 2022, dedicated science areas, and art spaces. TRINT is governed by Stiftelsen Tromsø International School and operates without boarding or school bus services.
