1. Visit by Parents/Guardians. Parents arrange a tour to understand the school, meet staff, and view student work. A prospective student then has an assessment visit with a school team member, which may be in a group or scheduled individually depending on entry grade. The school admits students on a non-discriminatory basis, without regard to race, colour, nationality, family orientation, or ethnic origin. 2. Registration. Doha-based families complete Registration Admission with a photograph of the applicant and copies of passport, ID, and health/immunisation records; the non-refundable registration fee is paid. Current and previous year's transcripts and school records must be sent directly from the current school. Registration is required before admission. 3. Entrance Assessment. Students are invited to attend AGS to complete the entrance assessment for the appropriate year group, conducted by the teacher for that year group and may be group or individual. If relocation from outside Doha makes in-person assessment difficult, a phone or video conference assessment is possible, or the place may be offered on the basis of the application together with teacher evaluations and records. Final admissions decisions are at the discretion of the Principal and the admissions committee; parents are usually notified within 48 hours if successful and then complete health forms, bus forms if applicable, and pay the uniform, book, and tuition fees.
