Middleton International School provides a comprehensive English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme to support non-native English speakers in developing language proficiency. Students may undergo an assessment upon admission or during their first weeks to determine the level of support required. The programme consists of two tiers: Standard EAL, comprising four weekly sessions (30 minutes for Early Years, 45 minutes for Primary and Secondary), and Intensive EAL (IEAL), which doubles the session time for enhanced support. Additionally, students in Grades 4 to 7 who do not yet meet mainstream requirements may enrol in the Middleton Intensive English Programme, designed to accelerate proficiency before transitioning to mainstream classes with EAL support.

The campus supports a design-thinking and innovation-focused approach with age-appropriate spaces. There are large, well-equipped classrooms and a well-resourced library. There is a large outdoor field for football and other games, external hard courts, and a multi-purpose covered games court.
