The school day runs from 8.30 AM to 3.30 PM. Students have both a morning break and a lunch break, with timings slightly staggered across year groups to ensure a smooth and well-paced school day.

For students participating in extracurricular activities (ECAs), the day extends until 4.45 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Door-to-door and shuttle bus options are available for students. The door-to-door service covers various zones across the island, with fees varying based on distance. The shuttle service operates between the school and Cashew MRT station, with multiple pick-up and drop-off times to accommodate different schedules. Each bus is equipped with a bus attendant to ensure student safety during transit.

Each student receives a complimentary set of school uniform and PE uniform upon enrolment. Additional uniforms can be purchased directly through the school's supplier.

The school partners with Mycelium Catering to provide fresh and nutritious hot lunches for students. Meals can be pre-ordered through the Mycelium portal. Vegetarian options are available daily. The school has a strict nut-free policy. Packed lunches are allowed.

There are four Houses in the school: Garuda (green); Naga (blue); Singa (Red); and Harimau (yellow). Throughout the year, there is ample opportunity for friendly competitions and cross-collaboration between the Houses.

The Perse School (Singapore) offers a continuous Cambridge International curriculum from early years to IGCSE. In the early years (Nursery to Year 2), learning is structured into a play-based and inquiry-led approach, and delivered within a bilingual English–Mandarin environment. This foundation continues in the Junior School (ages 7 – 10), where the curriculum deepens to build confidence, independence, and strong literacy and numeracy skills, while maintaining bilingual immersion.

In the Senior School (ages 11–16), academic rigour is further strengthened, culminating in the Cambridge IGCSE, with options for individual sciences including Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. Across both Junior and Senior years, students also engage in future-focused subjects such as entrepreneurship, coding, and robotics, which help them succeed in an ever-changing world.

The Perse School (Singapore) is an extension of The Perse School Cambridge, founded in 1615 by Dr. Stephen Perse, making it Cambridge's oldest surviving secondary school. The Singapore campus opened its doors in January 2025, bringing over 400 years of Cambridge educational heritage to the region.

It is surrounded by nature reserves and provides modern facilities and ample outdoor spaces to support The Perse Way of education, which focuses on holistic development. Advanced facilities include modern classrooms, science labs, a culinary lab, an expansive astroturf field, cricket lanes, and dedicated creative studios. The campus is sustainably designed in line with one of the school's values — care for one another and the environment.

The campus supports a wide range of sports, including football gymnastics, and cricket. The Perse School (Singapore) partners with Barça Academy, The Yard, and CricKingdom to give students access to expert coaching and professional training programmes that develop their skills and passion in their chosen sport.

The campus features modern classrooms, advanced STEM labs, a culinary lab, and creative art, drama, and music studios.

The Perse School (Singapore) offers various STEM ECAs including Lego, Robotics/Coding, and Physics Phreaks. There are opportunities to participate in competitions, community projects, and leadership roles through these programmes.

ECAs in the Arts include visual arts, drama, choir, music, and movement, as part of Performance Arts. Students have the opportunities to organise and participate in school productions, art shows, and music performances.

English is the language of instruction. Additionally, the school also offers Mandarin, Japanese, and French — as well as Spanish, German, Hindi, and Korean from August 2026.

Language offerings are subject to demand.

Outdoor learning includes The Perse Exploration Society (PES), which organises hiking, climbing, camping, and conservation projects. The school has a dedicated Environment Committee, which supports sustainability initiatives. The Entrepreneurship subject also includes sustainability solution projects.

The Centre of Excellence For Entrepreneurship provides mentorship from industry leaders, real-world business challenges, and startup projects.

All lessons are taught in English. Mandarin is a compulsory subject in Nursery and Reception, with options to learn Mandarin, Japanese, or French in Junior and Senior Schools. Mandarin and French are offered in IGCSE (Years 10 and 11).

From August 2026, the school also offers Spanish, German, Hindi, and Korean (subject to demand).


Mandarin, French and Japanese are taught. Mandarin has Language Acquisition and Second/Native Language pathways, and is taught from Nursery; Nursery/Reception have five Mandarin lessons weekly, while Year 1–2 have three weekly lessons with an option to choose Mandarin or Japanese. French is offered from Year 3 onwards, and Japanese is taught from Year 1. A mother tongue programme for Japanese is free in Nursery/Reception and optional in later years at a fee; English as an Additional Language (EAL) support is available in intensive and basic forms.

An Immersive English-Mandarin bilingual programme is offered in Nursery to Year 2, with an opportunity to continue in higher year levels. The school's Two-Way Immersion approach ensures lessons are taught equally in English and Mandarin to develop high-level academic proficiency in both languages.
