Situated near Marbella on the Costa del Sol, The English International College is a British international school for ages 3 to 18. It follows the National Curriculum for England and Wales, with the Primary School (ages 3–10) taught by qualified teachers and a Secondary section (11–16) supported by specialist subject teams. The Sixth Form leads to IGCSE and A Levels, and from January 2026 a two‑year Stepping Stones program expands to Years 3 and 4 to address English development and curriculum gaps. The school provides specialist spaces for Computing, Music and Physical Education, and offers languages including Spanish, French and German from age 3. The Horizons Programme in the Sixth Form develops university‑level skills through debating, public speaking and a Horizon Diploma. Notable features include LAMDA examinations, project‑based learning, charity initiatives and a strong extra‑curricular offering such as ski trips and clubs. Stepping Stones is a two-year programme for Years 1–2 to help immersion in English and fill curriculum gaps, delivered in small groups by the Stepping Stones Coordinator and expanding to Years 3–4 from January 2026. Learning Support in Primary provides targeted small-group and one-to-one assistance, coordinated with teachers. Wellbeing and Counselling services, supported by an Educational Psychologist, support students' emotional health and learning needs.
