Asian International School in Sri Lanka offers a British curriculum for ages 2 to 17, guiding students to Pearson Edexcel IGCSE and International A Levels. The campus hosts on-site Edexcel examinations, science laboratories for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and a Computer laboratory with modern hardware. Exam Results 2025 show strong performance with multiple candidates achieving As and As in Pearson Edexcel A Levels and a number of Grade 9s in IGCSE. Exam results for 2024 include several As and As at A Level and multiple high grades at IGCSE. Exam results for 2023 reflect continued achievement across A Levels and IGCSE.
AIS reports university placements to universities in the USA, the UK, Australia, Canada, and Singapore. Notable destinations (as displayed) include MIT, Harvard University, Australian National University, University of Toronto, National University of Singapore, Stanford University, Cambridge University, University of Melbourne, Yale University, University of Manchester, University of New South Wales, Concordia University, University of Hong Kong, University of York, and University of Sydney.
Step 1: You may collect the prospectus from the school office between 7.30am and 2.00pm. Documents needed include a copy of the birth certificate and a current passport-size photograph of the student. The admission form is downloadable from the Admissions page.
Step 2: Entry tests involve student assessments in English and Mathematics. Entry tests will take place after submitting the completed admission application. Students entering senior school (IGCSE and Advanced Level classes) will have to provide a copy of their school reports.
Step 3: Scheduling an interview with the Principal. The final process of the admissions procedure will involve an informal interview with the principal.
AIS students awarded scholarships: Yehalah Fernando – Dartmouth College (Class of 2026) with a full scholarship covering tuition and living expenses. Dunara Cooray – New York University with a 50% scholarship to study Psychology. Anushika Mahendiran – University of Melbourne with a 50% scholarship for a Bachelor of Commerce. Hatim Rehmanjee – New York University Abu Dhabi with a 100% scholarship for Computer Science.
