Gymnasium Bäumlihof in Basel offers four gymnasial pathways under one roof: Regular Classes, GBplus, Sport Classes, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. GBplus provides compact, individualized learning with six phases per year and a personal learning coach, with lessons on a campus day from 8:00 to 17:40. The IB Diploma Programme is fully integrated in the four-year model; in the first 1.5 years some subjects are partly taught in English, and the Diploma runs in the last two years, yielding the Swiss Matura and the IB Diploma. Sport Classes balance schooling with high‑performance sport and music. Across tracks, the school emphasizes guided learning and the development of social and personal competencies. Facilities include the Mediothek library, a large Mensa, BYOD, sport facilities, a Kraftraum, and a green campus ideal for walks and outdoor learning. The Kultur am GB program, Musikprojekt and theatre productions provide arts opportunities, and all students undertake community service.
