The Bali campus has an on-site kitchen where meals are prepared on campus. It partners with Jungle Toppings to provide nutritious meals for students, staff and faculty. The campus is nuts- and shellfish-free; a food allergy procedure is in place and the school nurse coordinates allergy information.

AIS Indonesia operates the Bali campus as part of its network with the Jakarta campus. It is licensed by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture as a Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama (SPK). AIS Bali and AIS Jakarta are IB World Schools authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme. AIS is a founding member of the Australian International School Association (AISA) and is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS). NAPLAN participation is supported by the Australian government's Education and Training Directorate, and AIS maintains an association with the South Australian Department of Education and Child Development (DECD).

AIS Bali uses the Australian Curriculum (ACARA) in Primary and High School, and the Australian Early Years Curriculum in Early Childhood. The Australian Curriculum comprises eight learning areas and seven general capabilities to prepare students for 21st‑century life and work. Year 11 and 12 graduates choose among the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP), IB Courses, a School Based Program, or a Hybrid model. Successful IB DP results enable progression to leading universities in Australia or globally. The school also offers Vocational Education & Training (VET) paths for students seeking routes outside university.

Average class sizes are 18-24 students, taught by a fully qualified teacher with a local teaching assistant. Additional support staff, including a Language Support Assistant and/or a Learning Support Assistant, are provided as needed.

Year 11 and 12 graduates may pursue the IB Diploma Programme, IB Courses, a School Based Program, or a Hybrid model. Success in the IB Diploma Programme enables progression to leading universities in Australia or globally.

The school teaches in English with the exception of Advanced Indonesian; an English as an Additional Language (EAL) program with in-class support helps students improve English proficiency.

1. Submit the enrolment application, book a tour or register for an open morning, and learn more about life as an AIS family. These actions initiate the admissions process and connect families with the AIS admissions team. Use the Apply Now option to begin the process.

2. Year level placements are determined at admission by age (birthdate), prior school records, measured aptitude and achievements, physical and emotional maturity, and other pertinent considerations, including students' performance in the entry assessments. There is an entry assessment that informs placement. Preschool 3 entrants must be at least three years old before March 31, be toilet trained, and be immunised. The academic year runs January to December.

3. The Entrance Age Guideline governs grade placement and provides the age ranges and grade equivalents for placement (e.g., Preschool 3, Preschool 4, Foundation, Year 1, etc.). Review the guideline to determine eligibility for each year level.

4. Prepare Admissions Documents: Completed Application Forms; two passport-size photographs of the students and parents; scanned copies of passports (cover page, photo page, vital information page, expiration date, and current visa page); scanned birth certificate; scanned copies of KITAS (for non-Indonesian passport holders); copy of official school reports for the previous two years; copy of all education certificates; copy of English language test results; copy of psychological or educational evaluations/reports (for Special Needs students only); copy of previous Individual Education Plans (for Special Needs students only); copy of immunisation records; certified translations of documents not in English. Note: If the school year has not been completed, mid-term reports should be sent.

5. Indonesian citizens may apply to Preschool 3, Preschool 4 and Foundation; Indonesian citizens with dual citizenship must submit AFFIDAVIT; All other citizens must submit a KITAS or a guarantee letter; ensure documents are in English where required.

6. Applications for admission will be taken throughout the school.

7. The school year runs January to December, and the admissions process is designed to accommodate this calendar.

Scholarship Program Jakarta: Four academic scholarships are available for Indonesian students who would benefit from AIS's international campus in Pejaten, Jakarta Selatan. The scholarships cover 100% of the school's tuition fees, 100% of the IB Diploma exam fees, and 100% of the school's capital development fees for the duration of the program. Family costs such as uniforms, camp, and extracurricular activities are the responsibility of the family for the duration of the program. Applicants must be Indonesian citizens residing in Indonesia, have high English language fluency, an outstanding academic record, and demonstrate attributes aligned with the IB Learner Profile; they must not currently be enrolled at AIS Indonesia and must be in Grade 10.

Application requirements include a completed Scholarship Application Form, school reports for the last two years, a 500-word essay describing interest and benefits, two passport-sized photos, copies of passport and birth certificate, SKHUN, and copies of SMP diploma. AIS Jakarta integrates social and emotional learning as a core component of its wellbeing program. In Primary School, teachers foster a supportive, inclusive environment and listen to each student to identify strengths and areas for support. Zones of Regulation is used to help students recognise and articulate their feelings, and mindfulness activities are used regularly to develop emotional management and self-awareness. In High School, wellbeing services emphasise restorative practices and relationship skills to build conflict-resolution abilities and responsible behavior. Social & Emotional Thinking Classes are a values-based program designed to cultivate empathy, resilience, healthy decision-making and a growth mindset. AIS Jakarta places safeguarding and the safety of students and staff at the center of its operations. It uses Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum as part of safeguarding. The Wellbeing Program includes a Child Protection Team to oversee safeguarding measures. The Wellbeing team comprises the Principal, Wellbeing Co-ordinator, Counsellor, Homeroom Teachers, and the Child Protection Team, working together to monitor and respond to safeguarding concerns.
